Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Portal (prt.al) — the pages at prt.al/<handle>, the dashboard at app.prt.al, and this website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account. Keep your sign-in details secure — you're responsible for what happens under your account.

prt.al is currently in invite-only early access. Features may change while we build, and we may limit or end early access; we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

Handles are first-come, subject to these Terms. You may not register a handle to impersonate someone, to mislead visitors about who you are, or only to hold it for resale. Some handles are reserved. We may reassign a handle that infringes someone else's rights or that has been inactive and unused for a long period.

You own what you put on your page. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and deliver it for the purpose of running the service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload or link to.

You may not use prt.al to:

• phish, scam, or collect credentials or payment details under false pretences;
• distribute malware or link to it;
• impersonate a person, brand or organisation;
• host or link to illegal content, including any content that sexualises minors;
• harass, threaten or dox anyone;
• disguise where a link goes, or show different destinations to different visitors to evade review;
• send spam, or interfere with or overload the service.

Links to age-restricted material must use the page's 18+ notice and comply with the laws where you and your audience are. The notice is a courtesy, not age verification.

Every page shows a Report link. We review reports and may remove content, suspend a page, or close an account that breaks these Terms — without notice where the harm is serious or ongoing. A suspended page is no longer reachable. See Abuse & reporting for how this works.

Pages link to sites and services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices, and visiting them is subject to their terms.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, prt.al is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

You can delete your page and account at any time from the dashboard. We may end or suspend your access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as liability — do.

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top and email owners about material changes; continuing to use prt.al afterwards means you accept them. Questions: hello@prt.al.
